Sindh Research Incubation Centre is as per the Government of Sindh's manifesto to promote entrepreneurship culture in our young population so they may play their part in the prosperity of the Country and get it a distinctive standing in the global economy. The collaboration between Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi and Information, Science and Technology Department, Government of Sindh would help young and aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them opportunities to ensure sustainable growth for their ideas to create commercially viable technology startups.
Government of Sindh believes that the benefits of our progress in IT sector would improve our existing standards of living by bringing forth significant improvement in our service delivery systems, local ICT content development and linkage of IT professions with job markets which, in turn, would address the critical issue of poverty alleviation.
I would like to appreciate IBA Karachi for making this Incubation Centre possible and all the efforts rendered for this endeavor, it is indeed a great initiative to bring out the talent of Sindh. Government of Sindh hopes that Sindh Research Incubation Centre would turn the dreams of all startups into reality and fully train them to sustainably run and improve their businesses with the help of information technology.

Information, Science and Technology Department, Government of Sindh in collaboration with Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi proudly presents Sindh Research Incubation Centre. Our objective is to ensure the sustainable growth for early stage product based ideas by providing domain specific mentorship and investment opportunities to create commercially viable technology startups from Pakistan. Through this project we will promote IT entrepreneurship culture among the youth of Pakistan and increase the creation of IT enterprise in the business market, so that they can become the entrepreneurs for tomorrow and play their part in job creation.
Under this project, co-working space at IBA and other necessary facilities to the merit based selected startups will be provided. IS&T Department, Sindh along with IBA Karachi through project will provide remarkable facilities along with Seed capital to enable our young entrepreneurs of Sindh to make their ideas into a big reality. The collaboration between Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi and Information, Science and Technology Department, Government of Sindh will surely enhance the capacities of our young entrepreneurs and increase the formation of new IT Ventures.
I would like to thank the efforts of IBA Karachi in making this project possible and feasible, there is no doubt that together we will be able to promote the entrepreneurship culture in Sindh and take forward the ideas to the global level.
