IBA CICT Summer School 4.0: Leadership, Excellence, Impact
Building on our legacy of innovation, the IBA Center for Information & Communication Technology (CICT) successfully hosted Summer School 4.0 in 2025. This program was designed to empower students aged 10 to 18 with cutting-edge skills at the IBA Karachi Main Campus. Started on June 15th, 2025, students participated in intensive weekday sessions, choosing from specialized modules tailored to their age and interests.
Program Modules
We offered three distinct tracks to ensure every participant received high-impact, age-appropriate training:
For Ages 10 – 12
Digital Creators Club: Young learners explored how to craft personal brands, create engaging content, and understand the basics of marketing.
STEM Innovators: This module introduced students to the worlds of coding, AI, cybersecurity, and game design.
For Ages 13 – 15
Startup Studio: Participants learned the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, from building a brand to launching an online store and understanding startup growth.
Future Innovators: A deep dive into mastering future-ready skills like smart tech, advanced coding, and digital defense.
For Ages 16 – 18
- Digital Marketing Bootcamp: Aimed at aspiring professionals, this track covered $SEO$, content strategy, and various startup marketing tools.
- STEM Mastery Bootcamp: An advanced program where students tackled real-world tech challenges involving AI, advanced coding, and cybersecurity.
IBA CICT Summer School: Tech Adventures Await!
Relive the success of the most recent summer program hosted by the IBA Center for Information & Communication Technology (CICT). Our Summer School provided a high-energy, immersive environment where students explored the frontiers of technology through three specialized tracks.
Program Streams
Our curriculum was meticulously designed to cater to different age groups, ensuring that every student found a challenge suited to their skill level:
Tech Tots (8 – 12 years) This junior track focused on sparking curiosity through play and creation. Participants engaged in:
Robotics Workshops and Coding Quests to build foundational logic.
Digital Arts Studios and STEM Explorations to encourage creativity.
Cyber Awareness training and Outdoor Tech Adventures for a well-rounded experience.
Teen Tech (13 – 15 years) Designed for young innovators, this stream bridged the gap between basic interest and technical proficiency. Key modules included:
Advanced Coding Bootcamps and IoT Prototyping.
Hands-on sessions in AI and ML Workshops.
MS Office Proficiency and Cyber Bootcamps to prepare for academic success.
Professional exposure via the STEM Career Panel and Innovation Challenge.
Digital Explorers (16 – 18 years) This track offered advanced training for those looking to master professional-grade digital skills. Highlights included:

Relive the highlights of our inaugural Summer School batch, where creativity met technology! Organized by the Center for Information & Communication Technology (CICT) at the IBA Main Campus , this program was designed to help students unleash their tech skills and creative potential through hands-on learning. Our first batch featured a diverse range of specialized “trades,” providing students with foundational knowledge in today’s most in-demand digital fields:
Creative Arts & Design
Graphics Designing: Students developed a strong sense of aesthetics, learning to use professional software to create logos, posters, and social media assets.
Adobe Illustrator: A deep dive into vector art, where participants mastered typography, color theory, and the art of manipulating complex shapes.
Web & Software Development
Computer Coding: An introduction to the language of technology, focusing on algorithmic thinking and the core principles of programming.
WordPress: Participants experienced “web design magic,” learning to set up, customize, and manage e-commerce sites and plugins.
Game Development: Utilizing the Unity Game Engine, students transitioned from players to creators by integrating assets and building their own thrilling games.

Empowering the Next Generation: IBA-CICT Summer Camp 2022
The IBA Center for Information Communication Technology (CICT) successfully launched its first Summer School batch, a program dedicated to bridging the gap between academic learning and practical digital mastery. Designed for students eager to navigate the rapidly changing landscape of technology, the Summer Camp 2022 provided a foundational yet rigorous curriculum in office productivity and creative design.
Program Overview
Our summer program was built on the principle that programming and digital literacy are practical subjects best learned through “doing”. Students were immersed in a multi-disciplinary environment, rotating through three core tracks:
- Microsoft Word Mastery: Moving beyond basic typing, students learned professional document architecture, including the use of Mail Merge, SmartArt Graphics, and complex page layouts.
- Data Analytics with MS Excel: Participants explored the power of data through PivotTables, What-If Analysis, and complex formulas, turning raw data into meaningful insights with charts and sparklines.
- Creative Design with Adobe Photoshop CC: The creative track introduced students to professional retouching, layer management, and typographic design, using advanced tools like Puppet Warp and alpha channels.

Enrollment Fee:
- Upon enrollment, a fee of Rs. 1500/- is applicable.
- Upon receipt of the enrollment fee, the date for an on-campus test/ interview will be scheduled & informed via email.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified of their selection through email.
Program Fee:
- Program fee PKR 140,000/- (excluding SST), is required to be submitted before the commencement of classes.
- A special incentive of a 15 % discount is available for those who choose to pay the full program fee in advance.
Installment Plan:
-We provide a flexible installment plan that consists of three payments:
- The initial installment amount is 60,000.
- The second installment amount is 40,000.
- The third installment amounts to 40,000.
Program Duration:
- 4-Months program
- Scheduled as a weekend program, classes are held on both Saturday and Sunday.
Timings:
- Saturday: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduates are preferred.
Student Policy:
- It is essential for program participants to fulfill the requirement of clearing the program fee.
- Non-compliance with fee payment may result in termination from the program.
ASIF IQBAL
Asif Iqbal is a Serial Entrepreneur and Growth Hacker, who has been working since 2001 in the Digital Media Marketing & Advertising Industry. He is currently leading a digital marketing agency in Pakistan and is also Chairman of the Advisory Board at Digital Marketing Association Pakistan. He has been associated with IBA University since 2019 as Visiting Faculty. Asif Iqbal has been providing digital marketing training since 2003 and he has been associated with Multiple Universities as Visiting Faculty since 2010 and trained over 16000 digital marketing professionals worldwide, most of his trained students are now leading their own Digital Marketing Agencies, and he is an international trainer, who has also conducted training & workshops in various countries around the world. He has worked for State Bank, GEO Network, ARY Network, TCS, Pakistan Navy, Lotte Chemical, Rizwan Moazzam, Phone Book, Pukar Foundation, and Tradekey.
AHSAN AGHAI
is a digital marketing professional having almost a decade of experience with a diverse skill set and a wealth of knowledge in a variety of digital marketing channels, including search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, performance marketing, and content marketing. Working with a variety of industries i.e. from consumer electronics to Nutraceutical and Health & Wellness has a strong understanding of tailoring marketing strategies to the targeted audiences by utilizing different marketing channels effectively. He holds an MBA in Marketing from Hamdard University and also earned certifications in Digital Marketing from both Google and Facebook.
