From Prototype to Production: Build, Deploy, and Ship Real AI Agent Systems

The Diploma in Applied Agentic AI Engineering is a code-first, hands-on program for professionals who already have basic programming exposure and want to go all the way — from writing a single AI agent by hand, to orchestrating a team of coordinated agents, to deploying and monitoring a real, working system in production. No step is skipped, and no step stays theoretical: every module ends in something built, not just something explained.

The program is structured as a continuous build. The single agent you design early in the program is deliberately carried forward, decomposed into a multi-agent system, hardened for real-world deployment, and scaled into your final capstone — so by the end, you’re not defending a class project. You’re defending a system.

Module

What It Covers

Programming Warm-Up

A fast-paced refresher in Python, SQL, and API/JSON fundamentals — building the exact coding muscle this program assumes, before anything “agentic” begins.

Foundations: The Agentic Loop, Tool Use & MCP

Build your first AI agent completely by hand — no frameworks yet — so you understand exactly what’s happening under the hood. Includes hands-on work with the Model Context Protocol (MCP), one of the newest open standards in the field.

Frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Reflection & Planning

Move from manual to framework-powered agents. Build a self-correcting, knowledge-grounded agent using LangChain and LangGraph, complete with human-in-the-loop checkpoints and reflection logic.

Multi-Agent Systems: Orchestration, Memory & Context

Learn when one agent isn’t enough — and how to design a coordinated crew of agents using CrewAI, complete with memory architecture and intelligent context management.

Production-Ready Engineering: Observability, Evaluation & Deployment

Take your system out of the notebook. Learn to trace, test, and evaluate agent behavior, then containerize and deploy it as a real, streaming service.

Capstone & Ethics: End-to-End System + Agent-to-Agent Communication

Design, build, evaluate, deploy, and defend a complete, original multi-agent system — including a risk and governance package, and hands-on exposure to Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication, another frontier standard in the field.

By the end of this diploma, you will be able to:

  • Build an AI agent from the ground up — writing the reasoning loop, tool-calling logic, and decision flow yourself, before ever touching a framework, so you understand exactly what frameworks are automating for you.
  • Connect agents to real tools and data sources using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — one of the newest standards for how AI systems interact with the outside world.
  • Design and build production-grade single-agent systems using LangChain and LangGraph — complete with retrieval-augmented knowledge, self-correction, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints for high-stakes decisions.
  • Architect multi-agent systems that actually need to be multi-agent — knowing when a single agent is enough, when it isn’t, and how to design coordinated agent crews with the right memory and context strategy.
  • Instrument, test, and evaluate agent behavior the way production engineering teams do — not “does it look right,” but structured evaluation sets and traceable execution logs.
  • Deploy a real, working agent system — containerized, streaming, and monitored — rather than a script that only runs on your own machine.
  • Assess and document the risk, safety, and human-oversight profile of an agentic AI system, and communicate that to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design for tomorrow’s standards, today — with hands-on exposure to Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication, a frontier protocol still maturing across the industry.

  • You build by hand before you build with frameworks. Most agentic AI courses start you on LangChain or CrewAI on day one — you’ll write a working agent loop from raw API calls first, so frameworks stop feeling like black boxes.
  • The program doesn’t stop at “it works.” A dedicated production-engineering module takes you through observability, structured evaluation, containerization, and deployment — the stage where most agentic AI training simply ends.
  • One continuous system, not six disconnected projects. Your single agent is deliberately decomposed into a multi-agent crew, hardened for production, and scaled into your final capstone — you leave with one deployed system you can fully explain, not a folder of unrelated exercises.
  • Early, hands-on exposure to two frontier standards — Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication — both still maturing industry-wide, giving you a head start before they become baseline expectations.
  • 100% applied, 0% written exam. Every assessment is a build, a deployment, or a defense — no multiple-choice, no theory-only exam.
  • On completion, an IBA Certificate — backed by a portfolio-grade, deployed multi-agent system you can show in interviews or freelance pitches, not just a line on a transcript.

Audience Segment

Why This Program Fits

Software Developers & Engineers

Already comfortable writing code — this program takes that fluency directly into agent design, orchestration, and production deployment, a fast-growing and still under-supplied specialization.

Data Scientists & ML Engineers

Have the modeling/data skills already — this program adds the missing piece: how to turn models and logic into deployed, tool-using agent systems rather than static analyses.

BDA / BI / Cybersecurity Alumni

Direct entry with existing Python/SQL fluency covering the program’s prerequisite bar — a natural next step to extend an existing technical credential into agentic AI.

IT & Automation Professionals

Already building scripts, integrations, or RPA-style automations — this program upgrades that skill set into AI-native, reasoning-driven automation that can handle ambiguity, not just fixed rules.

Freelancers & Independent Consultants (technical)

Agentic AI engineering is a high-demand, low-supply skill in the global remote/freelance market — this program produces a deployed, defensible portfolio project as direct proof of capability.

Banking & Financial Services (technical staff)

Growing internal pressure to build AI systems that keep sensitive data on-premise — this program’s production-deployment focus directly addresses that data-privacy requirement.

Healthcare & Pharma (technical staff)

Similar data-sensitivity constraints apply — engineers who can build and deploy private, auditable agent systems are increasingly valuable in regulated healthcare environments.

Telecom & Digital Services (technical staff)

High-volume, process-heavy operations are natural candidates for agentic automation — this program builds the in-house capability to design and ship those systems rather than relying on vendors.

  • Build internal AI capability instead of renting it. Every graduate leaves able to design, deploy, and maintain agentic AI systems in-house — reducing long-term dependency on external AI vendors and consultants.
  • Address data-privacy concerns directly, not just in policy. With enterprise data-privacy concern rising sharply across the region, this program trains engineers specifically in private, on-premise-capable deployment patterns — not just cloud-API integrations that route sensitive data externally.
  • Your employee’s capstone can be built around a real problem from your organization. Rather than a generic class project, the final capstone can be scoped around an actual internal automation need — meaning you get a working, deployable prototype for that problem as a direct output of the training investment.
  • De-risk your first agentic AI initiative. Instead of a vendor pilot with unclear internal ownership, this program produces staff who can build, evaluate, and take responsibility for an agentic AI system from day one.
  • Applied assessment means no theoretical box-ticking. Every module is assessed through real builds and deployments — you’re evaluating what your employee can actually do, not what they memorized.
  • A future-ready hire, not a catch-up hire. With hands-on exposure to MCP and A2A — two protocols still maturing industry-wide — your engineers won’t just keep pace with agentic AI standards, they’ll already be fluent when those standards become baseline expectations.
  • Agentic AI / Agent Engineer — you’ll leave having built, orchestrated, and deployed multi-agent systems end-to-end, not just prototyped one in a notebook.
  • AI Automation Engineer — your hands-on work connecting agents to real tools, APIs, and data sources via MCP directly maps to designing automation pipelines across business systems.
  • AI Solutions Developer — the full arc from scoping to deployment in your capstone mirrors exactly what’s required to translate a business automation request into a shipped technical system.
  • Applied AI Consultant — a deployed, defensible capstone project gives you concrete proof of capability for scoping and delivering client-specific agentic AI systems, including freelance and remote engagements.
  • MLOps / AI Platform Engineer (entry-level) — the observability, evaluation, and deployment skills from the production-engineering module transfer directly into broader AI infrastructure roles.

Freelance & Consulting-Ready

This program is built for the global remote and freelance market, where demand for agentic AI engineering talent currently outpaces credentialed supply. You leave with a real, deployed, technically-defended system — not a certificate alone — as direct evidence of capability for freelance pitches and remote contract work.

Is this program for technical or non-technical professionals?

Technical. You’ll need basic prior exposure to a programming language and/or SQL. If you’re non-technical and want to lead or govern AI adoption without writing code, our Diploma in Agentic AI for Business Leaders is the better fit.

Basic prior Python and/or SQL exposure. The opening module is a structured refresher, not a first introduction to coding — so if you’ve never written code before, this isn’t the right starting point.

Entirely applied — daily coding assignments, in-class exercises, a capstone project, and structured peer review. There’s no written or multiple-choice exam anywhere in the program.

An IBA Certificate, contingent on meeting attendance and evaluation thresholds in every module — plus a real, deployed multi-agent system you can show in interviews or client pitches.

That program is no-code and governance-focused, built for executives directing AI adoption. This program is code-first and deployment-focused, built for engineers who build the systems themselves.
